Terms of use

Nothing here is an offer to sell. There is no cart, no checkout and no published price, and listing a piece does not commit us to supplying it at any particular price or at all. Everything is quoted individually against what you actually need, and a contract exists only when we have both agreed a written quotation.

We describe what we make as accurately as we can. Specifically, and without exception:

• A natural diamond is described as a natural diamond.
• A laboratory-grown diamond is described as a lab-grown diamond, never simply as a diamond.
• Moissanite is described as moissanite. It is a different gemstone, and we never call it a diamond.

Carat weights, stone counts, dimensions and finger sizes are given to the tolerances normal in the trade. Jewelry is made by hand, so a finished piece may differ slightly from the one photographed. Color on a screen is not a reliable guide to metal color or stone color; where color matters, ask us for a sample.

Availability shown on this site is a snapshot and can change before we reply to you.

Where we supply a GIA or IGI certificate, that certificate is issued by an independent laboratory and describes the stone. It is not a valuation, and it is not a warranty from us. Where a piece is supplied without a certificate, this site says so.

You may read this site, and send us an inquiry. You may not:

• copy our photographs, video or written descriptions for your own listings without our written permission;
• submit false information, or someone else’s contact details, through the form;
• attempt to interfere with the site, or extract data from it by automated means.

If you send us a sketch, a photograph, a CAD file or a specification, you keep ownership of it. You are telling us that you have the right to send it and that making what it shows will not infringe anyone else’s rights, and you allow us to use it for the purpose of quoting and manufacturing for you. We will not show your designs to anyone else or use them in our own range.

We will not knowingly reproduce a design that is someone else’s, and we do not manufacture counterfeits of any brand.

The text, photographs, video, drawings and layout of this site belong to Caratcube Jewels. The names of certification laboratories are used only to say whose certificates we supply; no other company’s trade marks are used anywhere on this site.

We try to keep the site available and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of error. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on information on it. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

This does not affect your rights under any contract of sale we agree with you, which will have its own terms.

Where we link to another site — a map, a social profile, a messaging service — we do not control it and we are not responsible for it.
