Chemically and optically diamond, grown by chemical vapor deposition rather than mined. We always identify these as lab-grown, on the invoice, on the certificate and on this site — never simply as “diamond”.

Moissanite is silicon carbide, with an optical response distinct from diamond. Specify it by its own name and agree dimensions for the intended setting.
