This document accurately describes how the site is built and what it collects, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Caratcube Jewels should have its own adviser check it against the law of each market before the site goes live.
Every cookie this site can set, what it is for, and how to change your mind. Nothing in the analytics or advertising categories is set until you allow it, if you are somewhere that requires us to ask first.
Change your choice
You can change what you allow at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies on its own. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as refusing advertising cookies everywhere, whatever the box below says.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work correctly and are not switchable. Neither identifies you.

Analytics
These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they stop. We use it to decide what to fix. None of your contact details are ever sent to an analytics service.

Advertising measurement
We advertise to jewelry buyers around the world. These connect an inquiry back to the advertisement that produced it, so we stop paying for advertisements that do not work. They are not used to build a profile of you for anyone else.

What happens before you choose
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland — or if we cannot tell where you are, which we treat the same way — nothing in the analytics or advertising categories runs until you accept. The Meta Pixel is not even loaded, and Google’s tags are loaded in a state where they are not permitted to store anything. Any activity recorded before you decide is held in memory and discarded if you decline.
Everywhere else, these run by default and you are shown a notice with a link to change it.
